چکیده طرح پژوهشی:

Hamadan province with 19546.818Km area situated in west of Iran. Variation in climate, topography and natural conditions, causes floristic variation in the province. The second phase of project including collection and identification of flora in Hamadan province, was carried out with the aim of continuation to plants collection in first phase and completion of herbarium samples in Agricultural and Natural Resources Research Center of Hamadan province. In second phase we collected plant specimens from the areas that we had not explored before or some of those species that were not collected in the first phase. During the collection of plants, the required data was recorded as well. The plants specimens were dried based on standard methods and then were attached to herbarium cardboards. The identification of the collected specimens was carried out. The following floras were used for identification of species: Flora Iranica; Flora of Iran; Flora of Turkey and Flora of Iraq. Information of the plant specimens was entered to computer database designed in the Agricultural and Natural Resources Research Center of Hamadan province. A duplicate of the collected plants was sent to Botany Department of Research Institute of Forests and Rangelands. At the second phase of this project, 1477 plant specimens were collected and deposited in the herbarium of Agricultural and Natural Resources Research Center of Hamadan province. Regarding to systematic classification of the collected samples, 7 samples to vascular cryptogams, 2 samples to gymnosperms, 57 samples to monocotyledons and 1311 samples to dicotyledons. Collected plant specimens in second phase include: 69 family, 323 genus and 541 recognized species. Total of plant specimens in the first and second phases include 6782 plant samples, 97 family, 498 genus and 1078 identified species. The families of Compositae , Labiatae, Papilionaceae, Cruciferae and Gramineae have the greatest number of samples in herbarium respectively.
