بررسی و مقایسه عملکرد ارقام جدید هندوانه در کشت بهاره جنوب خوزستان

Considering the importance of watermelon in Iran and specially in Khuzestan to determine the High yielding varieties under study, an experiment was conducted in completely randomized block design with 9 and 8 treatments for the first and the second cropping season respectivly during 1998- 2000 in Ahwaz Agriculture Research Center. Varieties studied in the first cropping seasone included : 1-Charlestongray extera 2-Cremson Sweet Au 3-King Chars 4-Ariba 5-Charly 6-Suger baby PS 7-Favorite 8-Cremson Sweet Standard 9-Karman Varieties studied in the second cropping season included : 1-Charlestongray extera 2-Cremson Sweet Au 3- Charly 4- Fovorite 5-Suger baby patangera 6-Suger baby 711 7-Crimson Sweet 20 8-RS610632 each treatment cultivated in two rows of 5m longth and the widths of 3m in two sided Forrow method. The intara row spasing was 50cm. During the experiment, the agromic characters of varieties was recorded. was cultivated in early march and harvesting began in mid July till late September. The number of fruit harvesting times were 15. simple variance analized cultulated in the first year and in the second year compound variance analize was done and the means compored with each other with dancan's multiple range test.
