This plsnt is applied in traditional medicine as unclogging of systoles. antiheadache, antimigraine of venom animals, and diluter of blood. Application of flower of this plant is not usual because of making much nausea, but it may be possible as if it is accompanied by honey. Antimigraine function of this plant is because of Parthenolide in the leaf. In this investigation, Tanacetum parthenium L. is cultivated in 21 Crete With row distance 50 cm and 40 cm within planting row in Bou Ali sina Herbal Garden in Hamedan City which was harvested for 7 months in 3 repetitions. Also, the main field of Morad Beik valley and 2 other subsidiary areas such as Sangestan and Sheverin are considered for comparison. Specimens of plant leaves and cultivated specimens were harvested every monts. The specimens first had been washed and then dried. All the specimens (10g of leaf) were extracted by soxhlet and chloroform (500ml) for 4h, and then the chloroform extract was combined with distilled water and been separated. The separated watery phase was contracted with ethylacetate and ethylacetate phase was separated and measured as a specimen by Parthenolide standard for HPLC test and also for determining the effective material content and presenting the concenteration diagram of this material in specimens. Results indicated that the highest content of Parthenolide is found in july and agust about 17 mg, and lowest content of Parthenolide is found in july by 551 mg. Cultivating this plant in herbal garden caused ratio increase in the amount of this plant in comparison with the filed. The highest content of the effective material was found in late july. Investigations were carried out regarding to first and second harvest of green leaf and yellow leaf specimens. Cold weather was found as a reason of the effective material being higher.
