The Middle East can be called the cradle of ancient human civilization; The region, which supplies more than ۶۰ percent of the world’s largest oil industry, has also faced a number of challenges in the field of sports in recent years; The hosting of Arab-speaking countries in the Persian Gulf, including the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, at major sporting events such as the FIFA World Cup, Formula ۱, and the Asian Cup has left the Islamic Republic of Iran, a superpower in West Asia, affected by sporting challenges. Face political relations; The present study was conducted qualitatively and by studying more than ۵۰ works in the field of sports in Iran and the Arabic-speaking countries of the Persian Gulf in the form of notes, articles, books, news, etc., showed that Iranian sports can use good neighborliness in its diplomatic relations and turn this threat into an opportunity. In addition, the advanced equipment and technologies of these countries can be a good opportunity to develop some selected disciplines, including football. On the other hand, sport as a low-cost and popular tool is a suitable tool for developing and establishing Iran s broken diplomatic relations with some Arabic-speaking countries, including Saudi Arabia, which can be done in various ways, including inviting national teams of the two countries to hold a camp. Common in different sports. At the end, it is suggested to form a committee consisting of representatives of the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran to examine the opportunities for sports to develop political relations and finally by presenting a coherent and purposeful plan to develop sustainable sports relations with these countries.
