In today's society, students face various challenges that can negatively affect their wellbeingand social interactions. Identifying social harms and implementing preventiveinterventions is very important to create a safe and supportive learning environment. Ouraim was to investigate the social harms experienced by students and the effectiveness ofpreventive interventions focusing on the role of psychologists. The present researchmethod was a qualitative case study type. Using a standard Likert scale questionnaire,detailed information was used to reveal the prevalence of social harms such as cyberbullying, peer pressure, substance abuse and related issues. Mental health and the effectof psychologists' preventive interventions on students' well-being were collected from ۳۰۰female students of Kermanshah city in press line format. Data were analyzed usingdescriptive statistics analysis methods based on frequency percentage. The findingsindicated several significant social harms in female students of Kermanshah city.Although cyberbullying was not a common issue, ۴۳% reported verbal and onlineharassment. ۳۷% identified academic stress as a major concern. Social rejection and peerpressure with ۱۱%,smoking and hookah consumption with ۳% were considered as a socialharm. According to the results, the effectiveness of psychologists' interventions inimplementing preventive interventions to reduce social harms by creating supportiveenvironments for students, including awareness campaigns, support The implementationof psychological education and counseling programs using the experiences of the affectedstudents was of sufficient importance in the planning of education officials
