چکیده مقاله:

This paper presents a coarse alignment method for Strap-down Inertial Navigation System (SDINS) on vibrating base. Precision and duration of initial alignment are two critical factors that strongly depend on coarse alignment. In contrast to the traditional alignment methods, e.g., gyrocompassing, this method is based on optimization. This paper indicates that with using infinite vector observations and sensors with low biases in each of their axes, it is possible to find attitude of navigation equipment even on a vibrating base accurately. With the proposed method the attitude converges to its real value in stationary mode without any aided sensors faster and more stable compare to the conventional methods. Simulation studies prove its rapidness because of low burden of computational complexity, robustness and accuracy. This approach is almost able to challenge any exerted forces and motions during the alignment
