In this study, fabrication of nano-sized strontium carbonate particles from acidic strontium sulfatesolution is investigated. Strontium carbonate nanoparticles prepared and neutralized in differentoperational conditions like, pH (10.5, 12), temperature (5°C, 75°C) and, two different concentration ofsodium carbonate (0.1M, 2M) to fulfill precipitation of strontium carbonate nanoparticles. The techniquesof XRD, FT-IR, FE-SEM were applied for the characterization of the produced materials. According toFE-SEM images of precipitated nanoparticles in each pH, nanoparticles were found to obtain at highsupersaturation level (high concentration of sodium carbonate solution) and low temperaturesimultaneously. In contrast, at low supersaturation level alongside at elevated temperature grown particleswith smooth crystalline faces were produced. Analysis outcomes for specific surface of powders andlattice micro-strain calculated from data of XRD were in agreement with FE-SEM images. Resultsshowed that precipitated SrCO3 nanoparticles in current work had the mean size of 79 nm.
