A ZVZCS-FB-PWM CONVERTER IMPROVED BY SIMPLE AUXILIARY CIRCUIT

In order to reduce turn off switching losses of IGBTs, ZVZCS techniques are introduced for bridge converters . In this paper, most important ZVZCS techniques in PWM converters are compared and an improved ZVZCS converter is presented which provides the soft switching for extended variations of load. A selected ZVZCS and the proposed improved converter are implemented at 3kW, 30kHz. The experimental results justify the simulation waveforms.
